Israeli envoy meets Khattar for multi-sector investment

Chandigarh: Israeli Ambassador Naor Gilon on Monday met with Minister Haryana Manohar Lal Khattar to discuss the path of collaboration in research, education, health services, and aeronautics, in addition to the current investment agreement in the agricultural sector.
Gilon praised Haryana to run four centers of excellence in these sectors and said his country was interested in developing a shared project in Haryana because of “production capacity, efficiency, and atmosphere”.
He said: “Israel has an 80% investment in India in these sectors, and 50% of it is in Haryana, where Israel sees more possibilities of investment outside agriculture.
