Jammu: Police Sway from Jammu claimed to have arrested two people because of their alleged involvement in the riots in Ladda Dhar where at least twelve people were injured.
“On August 10, Chanderkot police station received a written complaint from a complainant who stated that some people took their livestock to the forest in the number 33 compartment.
Suddenly around 100 people belonging to the Gujjar community attacked them with a stick.
12 people were seriously injured in the attack , “Police said quoting a complainant.
A police spokesman said that in accordance with the complainant, only 21 of the attackers were identified.
“Therefore a registered case and the police team was formed to investigate this case,” he said.
During the investigation, the police had arrested two main charges – Mohd Hussain and Abdul Rashid, both Kanachak residents.
