From it, BBMP and BWSSB owe Rs 3,310 Crore.
Gram Panchayats cumulatively owed Rs 2,444 Crore to all five ESCOM.
“The indifference of the BBMP and BWSSB and the lethargy of Bescom officials to ensure a collection of timely bills is the reason for waiting for contributions.
It is important to recover it, the other ESCOM cannot solve what they owe to the power-producing company, which is around Rs 2,500 Crore,” said Sunil Kumar .
