Sales of the northern state liquor; 87.56 Box Beer Lakh For Sale Between April and August
Call it the stress induced by a pandemic or the pub that was opened after months, Karnatakaka people seemed to be in the mood of several parties.
What looks like a silver layer for the excise sector, the level of consumption of state liquor has risen once more.
According to data distributed by the Excise Ministry, the consumption of Indian Made Iquor (IML) has risen 31.54 percent in the first five months of this year compared to the appropriate period of last year.
Beer sales also rose 38.98 percent.
This shows that the excise sector, one of the most successful industries due to a pandemic, shows signs of recovery.
A total of 87.56 lakh beer cartons are sold in the state between April and August this year.
During the same period last year, the country saw sales of 63 beer carton boxes.

Similarly, 2.61 Crore Hard Liquor carton boxes sold in the state until August this year compared to 1.98 CRORE CRORE boxes last year.
Increased sales, which are not new trends, can be caused by last year’s day of locking rules compared to the last five months.
Thanks to the consumer of liquor, Karnataka Excise Revenue has violated the 10,000 Crore-Mark Hospital, which is an increase from Rs 7,755 Crore recorded during the same period last year.
The department has reached 41.49 percent of its annual target in the last five months.
The main source of the main state government generator aims to achieve the target of RS 24,580 Crore at the end of this financial year.
In the previous financial year, the department had resulted in annual income of 23,332 crore, which was far more than the target of Rs 22,700 Crore.
This shows that the consumption of state liquor rises year-on-year.
We see a stable increase in the sale of liquor.
We never knew how long it will be given that there is fear of the third wave – a liquor trader
Liquor, please
Data issued by the Excise Ministry also shows the dominance of consumption of liquor in the state.
Interestingly, while the sales volume of the IML almost three times higher than the sale of beer, the last five months have seen around 38 percent increase in beer sales compared to an increase of 31.54 percent in the sale of liquor.
Meanwhile, a liquor trader from Koramangala Bengaluru said that they saw more sales at the counter while eating-in demand had dropped.
“We see a stable increase in the sale of liquor.
We never know how long it will be given that there is fear of the third wave.
Profit margins have come down because of poor food demand,” said a trader, asking for anonymity.
The excise industry has produced various ways to attract people – who have been trapped at home for months – returning to hotels, bars and restaurants.
Some facilities see a very good response with all the full chairs.
