Bengaluru: The biennial election to the Karnataka legislative council of the 20 selection of local authorities for 25 seats, because the pension of the sitting member will be held on December 10, the Election Commission said on Tuesday.

While election notices will be issued on November 16, the last date to submit a nomination paper is November 23, and supervision will take place the next day.
The last date for the withdrawal of candidates is November 26, and the vote count will take place on December 14.
The selection was held for two seats each of the constituencies of local bijapur authorities, Belgaum, Dharwad, Dakshina Kannada and Mysore; And each of Bidar, Gulbarga, Uttara Kannada, Raichur, Bellary, Chitradurga, Shivamogga, Chikmagalur, Hassan, Tumakuru, Mandya, Bangalore, Bangalore Rural, Kodagu.
The Commission said that the Covid-19 guidelines were issued, it must be strictly followed during the entire selection process.
It is said that the code model of the behavior regarding the selection will take effect with the direct effects in related constituencies.
