Bengaluru: Karnataka on Sunday reaches 100% coverage of the first dose of Covid-19 vaccine among the qualified population, said Karnataka Health Minister Dr K Sudhakar.
He also claims that Karnataka became the first country in this country to achieve this achievement.
“We succeeded! We need exactly 1 year and 7 days to achieve the first dose coverage of 100%! Karnataka is the first country in the country (more than 4 crore adult populations) to achieve this achievement! Kudos for all District Health and Administrative Officers on the District This star achievement! “Sudhakar tweeted.
According to data distributed by him, the Gadag District achieved 105% vaccination of the population which qualified the first dose while inoculation coverage in the Bidar district, Bagalkote and Vijayapura, was 104% of the population.
