Karnataka recorded 247 new Covid-19 cases, one death

Bengaluru: Karnataka has reported 247 new Covid-19 cases and 1 death, taking total infection to 29,93,599 and tolls to 38,175, the health department said on Sunday.
That day also saw 278 release, took the total number of recovery in the state as far as 29.48,331.
Of the 247 new cases reported today, 134 came from Bengaluru Urban, because the city saw 180 release and 1 death.
The total number of active cases in the country is 7,064.
While the level of participants for that day stood at 0.31 percent, the case mortality rate (CFR) was at 0.40 percent.
Among the districts where new cases were reported, Bengaluru Urban contributed 134, Mysore 48, Dakshina Kannada and Tumaku 10, followed by others.
Bengaluru Urban District Peak the list of positive cases, with a total of 12,55,054, followed by Mysuru 1,79,564 and Tumaku.
Cumulatively, a total of 5.26 crore samples were tested in a state so far, where 78,037 was tested on Sundays.
