Bengaluru: Karnataka on Thursday reported 261 new Covid-19 cases and 5 deaths, with a total infection to 29,89,275 and the death toll became 38,095, the Ministry of Health said.
That day also saw 296 release, pushing the total recovery amount to 29,42,884.
Bengaluru Urban contributed 157 new cases, because the city saw 171 disposal and 1 death.
The total number of active cases in the country is at 8,267.
While the level of participation for that day reached 0.48 percent, the case mortality rate (CFR) was at 1.91 percent.
After Bengaluru Urban, Dakshina Kannada reported the second highest of 16 new cases, Tumakuru 15 and Mysuru 13.
The Bengaluru urban district now has a total of 12,52,414 positive cases, followed by MySuru 1.79,246 and Tumaku 120,875.
Among the disposal as well, Bengaluru Urban overcame the list with 12,29,740, followed by MySuru 1.76.560 and Tumakuru 1,19,484.
Cumulatively totaling 5,11,37,646 samples were tested, where 53,488 was tested today.
