Chikkamagaluru / Kannur: Two Maoists from Karnataka desired since 2005 and arrested on Tuesday was sent to the trial detention by the Thalassery court in Kerala.
Underground Maois, BG Krishnamurthy and Savithri, who have several cases against them in Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu are arrested on Tuesday near Madhur Forest Checkpost on the Gundlupet-Gundlupet Sulthan route.
On Wednesday, they were produced before the District Court in Thalastsery under strict security and returned in court detention until December 9.

Both were being hunted since February 2005 after the Maoist leader Saketh Rajan was shot in the numbers in Chikkamagaluru, said the source.
More than 50 cases were postponed with 42-year-old Krishnamurthy in Chikkamagaluru Regency, Shivamogga, Udupi and Dakshina Kannada.
More than 22 cases delayed against 36-year-old Savithri, according to sources.
Krishnamurthy and Savithri face accusations to spread Maois ideology, have weapons, weapons training and assembly that violate the law with the intention to launch armed agitation.
Krishnamurthy, known as BGK among Maois, was born in Nemmaru Village in Sringeri Taluk.
He became the leader for the Special Region Committee Western Maoist Ghats.
Savithri comes from the village of Mavinakere in Kalasa Taluk and is associated with Kabani Dalam, which is active in Karnataka and Kerala, especially in Wayanad.
Krishnamurthy studied Ba LLB in Shivamogga.
He was interested in the ideology of Maois from his studies and joined agitation to save Kudremukh forest in Chikkamagaluru.
Even when his father Gopallaiah died of cancer in 2018, Krishnamurthy did not visit the family, believed, even though the body was stored for two days for him.
Savithiri is a former wife of one time Maois Vikram Gowda.
They divorced a few years ago.
He left the Malnad district for Wayanad a decade back.
Speaking to the media, Chikkamagaluru SP Akshay MH said he had no information about the arrest of the duo.
