MANGALURU: Residents of the Excise section along with the railroad authorities on Friday captured 138.
75 litres of spirits being hauled at a train on Friday, sources said.
The spirits bottles were captured in the Dadar- Tirunelveli state train in the Mangaluru railroad station, the Excise Department sources said.
The accused, supposed to be the provider, was lost as soon as the seizure was created through a joint operation with the Excise and the police divisions, they stated.
A case under the Excise Act was registered, they explained.
