Bengaluru: Sample survey 250 schools without assistance – Most of the budget schools throughout the country – revealed that around 60,000 students 1.8 lakh on rolls they did not receive tickets to the academic year 2020-21, according to data delivered by the Primary and Middle School Association Karnataka (KAMS) to the High Court.
Submission was made in a group of cases heard by the High Court at the state of the state government to limit school costs in the pandemic year.
According to Kams, who has a membership of 3,600 schools, surveys are carried out to understand the extent of the financial losses suffered during Covid-19 pandemics.
While the actual force in the schools participating in the survey was 1,85,933, the number of students registered last year by paying fees was 1,25,839.
“These schools have not been able to relate to these children despite making efforts.
They do not know whether they have enrolled in other schools because they have not collected their transfer certificate (TCS),” said Secretary General Association D Shashi Kumar on Sunday.
