K’Taka: CBI and ED to explore drugs, Bitcoin fraud

Hubballi / Bengaluru: Bitcoin scam and drugs, which make headlines in the country earlier this year, are below the spotlight again with the state government referring to the Directorate of Enforcement (ED) and the Investigation Bureau (CBI).
On Thursday, Chairman of the Minister of Bumavaraj Bommai said the government had concluded his investigation and now submitted this case to ED, CBI for further investigation.
“This case was handed over to ED, CBI because it had consequences between countries,” he said.
Meanwhile, Interior Minister Araga Jnanendra said the case was still being examined by the Criminal Investigation Department.

These statements emerged after the opposition leader in the Siddaramaiiah legislative assembly accused the BJP of the cover and alleged some influential politicians protected.
