Bangalore: The government plans to reduce the curfew the night on 90 minutes and reopen the school for grades 5-9 in Bengaluru on Monday, sources said the health department.
In the second phase, the government plans to reopen the school for grades 1-4, they said.
With the number of infection-19 Fresh Covid stabilizing in some districts, Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai are under pressure to relax restrictions on induced covid there.
He will lead the review meeting on the situation of the pandemic on Saturday in which health professionals will weigh.
Experts plan to recommend these measures because they believe the active case will decrease over the next week due to various reasons, including the ‘purposive test’ and a receding trend.
The third wave.
Last week, Bommai lift the curfew weekend, but continued – though there is tremendous pressure – with walkways such as curfew nights, occupancy of 50% in restaurants, pubs and movie room, and travel restrictions for those who come from Maharashtra, Goa and Kerala.
The sidewalks remain in effect until Monday (31 January).
Also, because the variants omicron far more deadly than the variant delta and for a shorter duration of infection, unlike the second wave, there is little or no pressure on the medical infrastructure in the state.
As a result, sources say, the government tends to reduce the curfew the night on 90 minutes – from 10 pm there until 11:30 pm-5am.
However, all the other sidewalk can continue.
The Chief Minister also reported to support the reopening of schools in a phased manner and the possibility that on-campus classes for grades 5-9 will be allowed.
The decision on reopening schools for grades 1-4 will be examined a week later.
However, the virological suggest reopening the lower classes since children younger less susceptible to infection.
Technical Advisory Committee Covid-19 (TAC) met on Friday to review the situation and suggest the way forward for the government.
“We have set guidelines for the period after Monday and the Chief Minister will make the final call about restrictions,” said Dr MK Sudarshan, chairman of the TAC.
However, stakeholders want all hours of the night pavement including nights and occupancy of 50% in hotels, pubs and theaters to go.
They say the hospitality and entertainment sector has been hit by the bad with the curfew and sidewalks.
“We know the situation underestimate the pandemic over although some cases are still being reported,” said Uday Garudachar, BJP MLA and owner Garuda Mall.
“While most people who catch infections have no symptoms, others have symptoms of mild to moderate.
It’s time to lift the pavement so that sectors such as retail, hospitality and entertainment was saved from financial stress.
They can function without restriction to the imposition of norms covid tight .
“the virologist and domain experts agree with the argument because they believe the number of active cases will be reduced due to the policy of ‘purposive test’ countries that restrict testing only on symptomatic individuals.
The declining trend of the pandemic at the national level, where the curve is already showing signs of a plateau, is another reason.
“At this stage, reining only helps in inducing the seriousness among the people, but the strategy of containment must focus on other measures such as increasing the dose of vaccination includes the third,” said Dr Yacob famous virological John.
On Thursday, the government has issued guidelines on the ‘purposive test’ after a number of tests on Thursday, down from 2.
2 lakh on Wednesday to 1.
9 lakh.
Furthermore, the active case fell to 3.
3 lakh from 3.
6 lakh.
On Friday, the number of tests dipped 1.
5 lakh and an active case of dipped 2.
9 lakh.
Officials say the trend is likely to continue.
