Bengaluru: With the district outside Bengaluru witnessed the surge in Covid cases and as many as six of them reported at least 500 fresh infections, Karnataka on Friday recorded a daily surge of 28,773 cases on Friday, with state capital accounting for 20,121 of them.
MySuru saw 803 cases, followed by Tumakuru 796, Hassan 654, Dakshina Kannada 639, Manda 554 and Kolar 502.
Only four districts – Bagalkot, Haveri, Koppal and Yadgir – reported a case in two digits.
