Guwahati: A 35-year-old man from the Lakhimpur Assam district died after falling from Paraglider near the river in the Tinsukia district on Wednesday.
The incident took place at a resort in Guijan in Tinsukia.
People have been identified as Gogoi Pankaj, who went to experience paragliding at the resort.
Gogoi fell from a height of about 300 feet and a sustainable critical injury.
He rushed to the nearest hospital, where he died if he had paragliding experts.
“Meanwhile, the locals in the area alleged that the resort carried out illegal activities in the sensitive zone of the National Park Dibru Saikhowa, after Deputy Commission of Tinsukia had previously ordered an investigation.
