Dharamshala: underlining the need to have better air connectivity with the absence of a good railroad network to attract tourists, the main minister Jai Ram Thakur on Wednesday asking those who opposed Greenfield airport in the bath district will not only contribute to the country’s development but It will also be an asset for future generations.
The problem of building the Greenfield airport in bathing district echoed at the State Assembly on Wednesday because CPM MLA Rakesha Singha questioned the acquisition of private land for the project while the chairman of Minister Jai Ram Thakur said that the project must be for state development and generation.
CPM MLA Rakesha Singha has asked the state government to say whether in accordance with the provisions of the Land Liberation Law, 2013 whether there are provisions to acquire many farmers’ land; If yes, with what action conditions.
He also wants to know how many families will be moved after the land acquisition for Nag-Chala airport; Where the government proposes to give them alternative land and what land prices will be given to displaced farmers.
In the answer, the State Government informed that the right to compensate and transparency is fair in land acquisition, rehabilitation and resettlement, 2013 in Chapter-III, Section 10 (2) has provisions for the acquisition of multi-plant soil in extraordinary conditions for Everyone goals.
However, the provisions of this section do not apply if there are linear projects.
Furthermore was told that the site for the construction of the airport in the bath was not finished, and no process for private land acquisition had begun.
Therefore the question of family transfer does not appear at this stage.
The government said that the right family details to be moved or affected, identification of land compensation / alternative prices could be done after the land acquisition process and the work of the social impact assessment study was resolved for that purpose.
CM said that the Union Minister of Finance also stated that the increase in air connectivity in the state where RS 1,000 Crore has been recommended for bath airports while Rs 400 Crore has been recommended for Gagal Kangra Airport.
He said that people should not try to stop the airport bath because it was for future generations.
