Shimla: Two trekker bodies were restored by the rescue team in Kinnaur District on Friday, taking total death to seven.
Two trekkers are still missing in the area, and active search to track it.
The rescue team had restored five bodies on the Uttarakhand side on Thursday, while two people were saved safely.
Trekkers have started trekking from Harsil in the Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand against Chitkul in Kinnaur District in Himachal Pradesh but, before reaching Chitkul, they were trapped in a snowstorm.
According to officials, five bodies recovered from the Uttarakhand limit on Thursday.
They were flown to Uttarakhand on Friday, while two bodies on Friday recovered within Kinnaur limits, they were taken to Sangla to do post-mortem and identification.
Information was received on Wednesday night about the member of the lost trekking team, after which rescue consisting of personnel from the army, ITBP and the police were formed.
Rescue operations were launched on Thursday morning, five bodies were restored, and two trekking team members were saved.
The team was trapped in the snow on Lamkhaga Pass Peak, located at an altitude of about 20,000 feet above sea level.
Officials said that two bodies recovered from the area outside Nithal Thach.
