Lotus Lotus 1,000 Ascent on Bengalurean Animal Husbandry

Bengaluru: Tuesday is a pleasant day for Techie-Farmer Jyothi Bettapura Nagaraj as a flower with 1,000 petals blooming from the Lotus plants 75 days.
The flowers are considered rare results among water farmers.
Jyothi, a professional software in the US, returned to Bengalaru a few years ago and took the farm with a special focus on water gardening.
He turned the terrace RR Nagar his house became a garden with vegetables and flowers.
Jyothi then began to grow aquatic flowering plant on his farm in Kadujakkasandandra’s village of Ramanagara district.

It was a pleasant sight,” said a very happy Jyothi.
Claiming it is the first lotus to bloom in this region, Jyothi said it blooms with more than 1,000 petals and is considered sufficiently excel in the circle of water gardening.

But not much is heard about flowers in Karnataka.
“I really believe it is the first in this region and a number of waters farmer groups I part of have guaranteed it,” he added.
