But some experienced Fomo for different reasons in the third wave – with their colleagues infected with Covid-19, they felt ‘abandoned’.
The social media platform is berangzi with memes and jokes about ‘rare species’ that is still not sick, while others suffer from coughing, fever and body pain.
One viral meme reads: “If you don’t hurt now, you have to be an alien.” Others have healthy people who hate themselves when other people contract Covid.
Young children share their ‘disappointment’ online.
Shivangi, Twitter users, said: “People who don’t get Covid at Wave Two get it on Wave Three and those who don’t get wave three, UNKO Major Fomo Ho Raha Hai (they suffer from a big FOMO).” Siriveena tweeted: “The struggle has a bad Fomo while Covid is also feared.” Karthik Srinivasan, a communication consultant, shared anecdotes from his family: “Speaking with relatives.
