Beleagavi: The suspected fraud has cloneed a Facebook account from the former Deputy Commissioner Belagavi MG Hiremath and uses an account to send messages to people on the list of friends, ask for money.
Lately, government official accounts have been targeted by hackers.

Vikram Ampte Deputy Police Commissioner said he had known in the morning about fraud after Hirathan told him about it.
“I went to his office and blocked the account.
