Guwahati: City police arrested someone from Mangaldai for allegedly trying to cheat to attract Rs 25.5 lakh from the Bank’s biodiversity council account Assam.
He has been identified as Nabajyoti Deka from Mangaldai in Darrang District.
On October 23, Deka was alleged to have tried to attract this number from the council bank account using the “invalid payment authority letter” with seals and signatures from one muzif with Rahman.

The case has been registered against Deka on alleged forgery and cheating.
