Aizawl: Mizoram on Sunday registered 903 new Covid-19 cases, encouraging the state counting to 1,45,527, a health department official said on Sunday.
The state has reported 852 cases on Saturday.
Toll remains unchanged in 558 because there is no new fatality recorded in the last 24 hours.
At least 117 children are among the newly infected people, the official said.
The Aizawl district reported the highest number of cases in 283, followed by Serchip in 182 and Khawzawl at 150, he said.
Mizoram currently has 4,367 active cases.
Overall 1,40,602 people have recovered from the disease so far.
The one-day front day in the country established 15.86 percent, up from 15 percent the previous day, the official said.
The recovery rate recorded 96.61 percent and the mortality rate was 0.38 percent.
The northeastern state has so far tested 15.38 lakh samples for Covid-19, 5,694 of them being checked on Saturdays.
According to state immunization officers, Dr.
Lalzawmi, more than 7.46 Lakh, including 13,775 children in the age group 15-17 years, has been inoculated with anti-covid vaccines.
Of the 7.46 recipients of Lakh, 5.94 lakh has received two doses, he added.
