AizAwl: Mizoram on Wednesday reported 600 Covid-19 fresh cases, raising calculations to 49,950, while the death toll was installed up to 185 with another fatality, a health department official said.
More than 133 children and two border security forces (BSF) Jawan are among patients who have just been infected, he said.
The northeastern state now has 9,084 active cases and 40,681 people have recovered from this disease.
The Aizawl district reported a large number of new cases in 312, followed by Kolastic (88) and Mamit (42), the official said.
The level of state recovery reached 81.44 percent and a mortality rate of 0.37 percent.
Mizoram has tested more than 7.53 lakh samples for Covid-19 so far.
According to Lalzawmi state immunization officers, more than 6.47 lakh people have been vaccinated until Tuesday.
