Aizawl: Mizoram Mla Andrew H Thangliana died on Tuesday morning because of several diseases.
Thangliana was 44 and survived by his wife H Lalromawii, two sons and one daughter.
His funeral was held at Chawlhhhmun in Aizawl which was attended by the chairman of the Zoramthanga Minister, his colleagues from the cabinet, legislators and other leading citizens.
Thangliana joined active politics in 2017 when he joined the Nationalist Zoram (ZNP) and the official candidate for the Zoram People’s Movement (ZPM), ZNP allied, from the constituency of the Tuirial Assembly during the State Election in 2018.
Thangliana had emerged from the Tuirial seat.
