Chandigarh / Shimla: In the cause of alarm, Haryana has reported 5,166 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, and 13 of them are omicron variants.
Punjab is not far behind with 3,922 cases.
With Himachal Pradesh enrolled 498 cases, the cumulative number of covid from three countries on the day rose to 9,586.
According to the State Department of Health, the number of cases of Covid-19 in Haryana increased 45% on Sundays, and the state also recorded a 10.64% positioning level.
The Ministry of Health added that there were 805 recovery on Sundays, and there were no deaths reported.
Of the total 13 cases of Omicron, six of the highest cases were reported from Gurgaon, followed by five of Faridabad and one case from Karnal and Panipat.
Cumulative Covid-19 Counts State has now reached 794,151 cases and 10,072 deaths, with 18,298 active cases.
Of the total Covid-19 active cases, 13,223 in house isolation and the rest have been hospitalized.

The situation is similar in Punjab too, with the country recorded 3,922 Covid cases in the last 24 hours, with nine patients giving up on viruses.
The total number of Covid-19 cases in the country has now reached 6.21,419, and as many as 16,675 patients have died until now because of the deadly virus.
As on Sundays, Punjab has 16,343 cases of active Covid and the level of participants at 13.77%.
Meanwhile, the Punjab Chief Election Officer (CEO) of Karuna Raju has also tested positive for Covid-19 on Sunday.
He has discussed a press conference in his office on Saturday night after the Indian Election Commission (ECI) announced the election of the Assembly in five countries, including Punjab.
There are no new omicron cases found in the state on Sunday and to date, 18 people have been tested positively for Omicron variants in the state.
On the vaccination front, 48,917 people were vaccinated in Punjab on Sundays; 18,585 got the first dose and 30,332 got a second vaccine shot.
On the other hand, the state of Himachal Pradesh reported one Covid-19 death and 498 new cases on Sunday, while 156 patients were declared recovered.
164 Maximum positive cases have been reported from Kangra Regency.
Newly reported cases include 13 from Bilalaspur Regency, 13 from Chamba Regency, 16 of Hamirpur Regency, 164 of Kangra Regency, 13 of Kinnaur Regency, eight of Kullu Regency, 24 of the Bath District, 59 from Shirla District, 95 from the Regency Solan and 32 of Una District.
Those who recovered covered four of Bilalaspur Regency, one from Chamba Regency, two of Hamirpur District, 107 of Kangra Kangra, one from Kinnaur Regency, six of Kullu District, one from the Shimla District, 16 of the district, 14 of the district, 14 of the District Solan district and two of the Una District.
Bilalaspur District has 105 active cases, while Kangra’s Kangra has 982 active cases
