Aizawl: Intense battle between armed civilians called Chinland Defense Force (CDF), led by Cadres of National Army Chin (CNA) and Myanmar Army, under the military council in the country in Lungler Village in Mianmar Village in Mizoram from around 5.30 in the morning On Friday, Sumber CNA said.
Sources told TII that 150 CDF members were led by 150 CNA cadres attacked Myanmar Army Camp in Pungler (Lon Le in Myanmarse) and stormed the camp before the military council sent several helicopters and two jet fighters to launch counterattacks.
Lungler Village is in the city of Thantlang from State Chin, where 30 soldiers and police officers are deployed.
Air strikes by helicopters and jet fighters can be seen from the village of Sadai, a state police officer posted in the village, adding that all villagers of things that came out to watch bombings and could hear shots and explosions.
A number of refugees have also reached a great village, the police said.
The armed meeting resulted in a new entry of around 100 refugees from the city of Thantlang to Mizoram, which crossed the Border River Myanmar-Mizoram Tiau and took refuge in Farkawn and Thectte villages in the Champhai district where they were quarantined.
“Fifteen people are on the other hand the Tiau river waits to cross because of the unavailability of the quarantine center,” said CNA source.
The Border Village of Myanmar, in the constituency of the East Tuipui Council district of Champhai, has been filled with refugees from Myanmar.
Nearly 200 people have been sheltered in the village of Thekte with 120 households, 800 refugees in Farkawn Village with 700 households and around 100 refugees in Zawsei who have 60 houses.
