Guwahati: Tizit police registered the Suo Moto case against the 21 (SF) in connection with Punning down from 13 residents of Oting Village, Nagaland on Saturday.
This case is registered with charges of murder, efforts to kill and carry out actions in the group with shared intentions.
FIR stated that the command opened the API in Van Pickup Bolero brought villagers from work to their homes “without provocations which resulted in the murder of many villagers and many people.” FIR stated that at the time of the incident there was no police guide or security force which made every request needed to the police station to provide police for their operations.
“Therefore it is clear that the intention of security forces is to kill and hurt civilians,” said FIR.
21 Special troops are based on Jorhat with their respective detachments in North Igar, Zakhama and South Igar, Mantripukhri, Imphal.
