Chandigarh: More than vaccine protection, community health experts feel this is natural antibodies after covid infection that has protected city residents.

The UT health department has also requested unification of the Ministry of Health and family welfare to improve differences in the number of total beneficiaries in the city.

With vaccination and exposure to viruses, most of the city’s population has developed antibodies against viruses.
The weekly peposititivity level in the city has been recorded at 0.21% while the test per million per day stands at 1.170, which is more than the national average of 1102.7.
According to Dr.
Rijo John, Professor Adjunct, Rajagiri College of Social Sciences, Kochi, the growth of the weekly average daily case in the city was 0.01% while the national average was 0.12%.
Also, the weekly leading level in Chandigarh is equivalent to Punjab, where the rate is 0.2%.
