Bengaluru: The drug syndicate of seven members, which operates through many boys delivery of food in Bengaluru and Shivamogga and develops during the locking period, has been captured by officials of high-quality narcotics control and marijuana recovered from them, said agency.
It is said that syndicate is used to ensure the door delivery customers and develop during the locking period.
NCB Bengaluru Zonal Unit damages the main drug syndicate “operates in a unique and systematic manner” and neutralizes it by capturing kingpin, NCB statement said.
The agency said his officers intercepted two people on Thursday when they were in the process of receiving eight smuggled boxes from the courier vehicle and put it in a car in Bengaluru.
The thorough examination reveals 137 kg of high-grade marijuana which is packaged in a paper package wrapped in adhesive tapes, confiscated, said NCB.
The search at the residence of one of the accused of resulted in the recovery of RS 4.81 lakh cash.
The packing material used for retail packaging from contraband goods is also found.
A boy who will convey the parcel to be arrested, said NCB.
Furthermore, the search for housing places that are accused of producing recovery of around three kg of marijuana, packaged in small packages with specific signs on it and cash of RS 39,000 as a result of drug trafficking, NCB statement reading.
Follow-up action leads to the arrest of four people in Shivamogga on Friday, including men who handle network finance, the agency said.
