Shimla: After receiving a response to wait for the demands from the BJP government in Himachal Pradesh, farmers under the banner of Sanyukt Kisan Manchemen held a demonstration of protests throughout the hill country on Monday.
Submitting three characters’ charter points to the government, farmers protesting has warned intensifying their agitation if timely steps are not taken by the government to overcome their complaints.
Manches have decided that if the government does not carry out demands, it will join other organizations in the state to hold a state-wide demonstration on September 27 Manche, it will hold more protests until the government will not apply its demands.
During protest demonstrations, the request letter was also submitted to the government through memorandum.
Demands include the implementation of minimum support prices (MSP) for all plants; Implementation of market intervention schemes (eg) on the Kashmir line; And below eg for apples, fix Rs 60, Rs 44 and Rs 24 per price kg support for apple from A, B and C class, respectively.
