Bengaluru: In the last phase sustain school, pre-primary – nurseries, LKG and UKG – will be reopened from November 8 in all the net where the test level is below 2%.
Circular in this case has been issued by the Department of Public Instruction on Thursday.
With this, all the classes will fully function for the first time since March 2020.
Toi has reported on Wednesday that the government has decided to do the same for pre-primary after the announcement of the opening of the firewadis by the Department of Women and Child Welfare.
In accordance with the standard operating procedure, the teacher and staff must have to wear masks and fully vaccinated.
However, the mask for students is not mandated.
Experts have argued that children under the age of 5 no need to use a mask.
At the same time, children must be asked to close their mouths and noses when they cough or sneeze.
If a student shows the symptoms of Covid-19 like coughing, fever, cold, losing the sense of smell and taste, it must be separated in the isolation room and the guard being infested.
If a student is tested positively, all children must be tested for a virus and the school is temporarily closed.
The reopening of the school must be carried out based on instructions for health worker instructions.
Parents must be sensitive to not sending sick children to school.
Campus must be dissed regularly with sodium hypochlorite solutions.
Children must be tested for covid symptoms at the entrance.
1m physical distance must be maintained between children.
Children must bring food and water from home.
Hot water facilities must be available at school.
Care must be taken to ensure that children do not put other substances in their mouths other than food and water.
Sanitiser must be stored far from the reach of children.
Classes for these children can be run from 9am – 13:30 from Monday to Friday.
Schedules can be changed as needed.
No outsider to be allowed on campus, reading round.
