Chandigarh / Mohali / Panchkula: Chandigarh reported six Covid-19 cases fresh on Sundays.
Twelve patients were dismissed during the day, taking a total recovery to 60,926.
So far, UT has reported 61,831 cases, including 809 deaths.
The active case stands at 96.
Meanwhile, the number of active cases in Mohali fell below 100 counts on Sunday.
The district reported three positive cases and 36 recovery.
One death was reported from Mohali, said Deputy Commissioner Girish Dayalan.
Mohali Urban saw two cases while one case emerged from Kharar, a health official said.
However, there were no cases reported from Derabassi, Dhakoli, Gharuan, Lalru, Kurni, Boothgarh, Banur, Nayagaon, Mullanpur and Zirakpur.
Health officials said to date, the district has reported 68,370 cases, where 67,220 has recovered and 94 active cases.
The total death in the district has reached 1,056.
Mohali Civil Surgeon Dr.
Adarshpal Kaur said for the past six days, only one death reported in this district.
He said, “People may not oppose wear masks and maintain social distance.” Meanwhile, Panchkula reported a fresh case of Covid-19 on Sunday.
There are no cases of deaths reported during the day.
Chief Medical Officer Dr.
Mukta Kumar said from 30,612 cases reported so far, 30,217 patients have recovered from Sector-6 civil hospitals.
The district killed in the district reached 375 while there were 20 active cases in the current district.
CMO said a total of 3,73,109 people had been tested for Covid-19 in the district to date.
