Jithen Arun isn’t any standard nine-year-old.
The Class 4 pupil and also a resident of Sahakar Nagar was playing the drums out of when he was and is among India’s most adorable percussionists.
“Music was part of my own life from a really young age.
My mum is a trained classical singer and I have always been surrounded with the songs she hums.
Adhering to genres of songs spanning the world and being vulnerable to different instruments gave me some kind of shock from inside to test my hands on whatever that’s about, being it slamming on the desk or even boxes/containers or partitions — anything which allowed me to make a rhythm.
That’s the way it directed me to take drums up because my enthusiasm.
I’ve always been fascinated with all the thump noise produced by drummers at a group and constantly wished to emmulate it,” says Arun.

For the chirpy pupil, his greatest influences from the area are stalwarts such as Jonathan Moffet, Travis Barker and Mike Portnoy.
“I love heavy metal.
This makes me feel as though I am at the top of the planet.”
Ask him whether he’s ever confronted difficulties in juggling college along with his songs, and the response is really a instant no.
“My vacations just started a week, and that I will spend more time .
Otherwise, I’d be occupied with school until the day and could just begin practising then.
My parents and educators have been quite supportive.
Drumming is therapeutic for me and now that I will play all day .”
Despite his young age, Arun isn’t a stranger to doing publicly.
“My initial busking adventure was Marchthis year, in Church Street.
It turned out to be a mind-blowing adventure, together with the passing audience stopping to observe and inviting you to keep after it had been time to pack up.
My operation was part of India’s very first clean-air road initiative.

Arun has also played in Gilly’s Fandom and it is a standard in inter-and intra-school fests.

But music isn’t his only passion.
The multi-faceted child finds treatment in scuba diving and wants to become a certified scuba diver .
“CurrentlyI am keeping myself busy with focusing on some popular drum covers and writing my own music.
I’m trying to perform with all genres of music and also test complex designs and patterns.
The pandemic has affected me favorably so far.
It’s given me time for me.
I also have tried my hand at cooking, and that I will prepare many dishes, even however producing biriyani is my favorite.”
