Chikkamagaluru: Tusker created panic among city residents after being found wandering on the city’s main road.
Now Tusker has been chased near the Matttavara forest on the outskirts of the city.
According to Chikkamagaluru City Assistant Conservator, Muddanna, the Forestry Department received information about Tusker around 5:30 in the morning.
“We immediately swung in action.
Residents told us that it roamed the main streets of the city.
We found it near the ABC office in KM Road.
Then he moved near the Mattavara forest.
Now in the local forest,” he said.
According to Tusker residents roamed the suburban villages for the past few days.
