Bengaluru: Pontiffs Mutts throughout Karnataka’s plan to form a new organization, Mathagala Mahasabha, which will work for the cause of the community.
Shivamurthy Murugha Sharanaru from Murugha Mutt Chitradurga suggested the idea of carrying mutt under one platform at a forecaster convention on Sunday.
At the meeting, Seers expressed solidarity with BS Yediyurappa amid speculation of leadership changes.
“Seers of all Mutt in the state must unite to launch Mathagala Mahasabha, which will work for the welfare of the community and often meet like Dharma Sansad.
Let’s launch the organization,” said Murugha Sharanaru at the meeting.
He told the Toi that Pyniffs of Mutt had welcomed the proposal.
The meeting saw the fortune teller of around 400 religious institutions.
Many participants say that Mutt must be active in response to social and political problems so that people get justice.
Some pontist like Rudramuni Shivacharya Swamiji from Mushkuru Mutt suggested that BJP be able to consider appointing a fortune teller as a new lead Minister.
He also submitted the idea of launching the Pope’s regional party.
Head of Murugha Mutt said that the party’s proposal was not a serious discussion.
