Chandigarh: Secretary of the Punjab congress and former Sarpanch Jaspal Singh joined the sadness in Zirakpur on Thursday.
Sad President Sukhbir Singh Badal, who triggered him to the party, announced Jaspal as vice president of the party.
Speaking on that occasion, Sukhbir said sadness was the only party that fought for the rights of Punjab people while decisions on the other party were taken in Delhi.
He said BJP in Punjab today is doing what has been done in West Bengal, but voters there have chosen regional parties, Trinamool Congress, for the National Party (BJP).
Punjabis will repeat this achievement and throw BJP from the country, he said.
The sad president claimed that Punjab was being attacked from AAP, Congress and BJP, who had taken anti-punjab decisions.
He claimed that the hidden agenda AAP Convenar Jejiewal was to become the Minister of Punjab and that he wanted to project Dummy’s face just to be people.
He claimed that like the previous election, AAP sold tickets in this election too.
He said that MPs and MLA chosen by supporters AAP had left a party because of the dictatorship of Kejriwal.
The main contest of SAD is with Congress and AAP in different seats and BJP is not in the dispute, he said.
About farmers hold elections, Sukhbir says everyone has the right to oppose the election.
