CHANDIGARH: As numerous as 3,914 new instances of Covid-19 surfaced in Punjab, although the virus maintained 178 longer resides on Thursday.

Of total cases reported in the previous 24 hours, 411 individuals were tested positive in Ludhiana, 401 at Jalandhar, 344 at Bathinda, 313 at Muktsar, 278 at Mohali, 275 at Patiala, 231 at Fazilka, 201 at Kapurthala, 199 at Amritsar, 156 at Faridkot, 148 at Mansa, 137 at Gurdaspur, 135 at Pathankot, 125 at Hoshiarpur, 111 at Sangrur, 100 at Ferozepur, 98 at Ropar, 57 at Tarn Taran, 56 at Fatehgarh Sahib, 50 at Barnala, 49 at Moga and 39 at Nawanshahr.
A number of 26,368 were all vaccinated throughout the country.
Of this total, 21,969 qualified beneficiaries were awarded the initial injection and 4,399 acquired their next dose.
At the previous 24 weeks, four patients infected with Mucormycosis expired, taking the death toll on 27 to the country.
Thus far, 222 individuals are infected with the illness of which 192 are out of Punjab.
