Chandigarh: The government of Haryana on Tuesday was delivered before Punjab and Haryana High Court who intend to hold a three-phase Panica selection in the state.
Pancrayat gram polls will be held in the first phase, followed by selection for Panchayat Samitis and Zila Parishads.
The Government Haryana further told HC that because the situation became normal and faced with a constitutional mandate in conducting elections within six months from the date of the dissolution of Panchayats as stipulated in Article 243E of the Constitution and Part 3 of Haryana Pancayati Raj Act 1994, “The State Government, in the state Consult with the State Election Election Commission, intend to begin the election process in accordance with the provisions amended by the law.
” The state government has also requested permission from the High Court to conduct elections.
This problem has reached HC after the petition filed by Parveen Chohan, a resident of Jatola Village in the District of Gurugram, looking for instructions to set aside Haryana Pancayati Raj (second amendment) Act 2020 notified on April 15, 2021, by the Ministry of Panchayat State, due to illegal and unconstitutional discriminatory .
Furthermore, some petitions were also submitted on this problem.
Until now, there were 13 petitions delayed by the High Court who challenged various provisions of Haryana Pancayati Raj Amendment Act 2020.
