Chandigarh: Four candidates announced by the former Minister of Amarinder Singh, Punjab Lok (PLC), arranged to oppose assembly selection on the symbol of alliance partners, BJP and requests similar to some PLC candidates from urban areas that are believed to be considered.
They believe that the BJP symbol, Lotus, has more memories of Vale for people today than the sign of a new hockey and ball plc.
Confirming Development, BJP Secretary General Jeevan Gupta told TII that the four PLC candidates have submitted a request for contests when BJP nominations and formal breeding have been received from the leadership of the Safron Party as part of a joint agreement.
The candidates including the former Secretary of the Punjab Congress Raj Kumar Garg Nambardar, former Secretary of the Punjab Congress Kamaldeep Saini (Kharar), former President of the Congress Committee of Ludhiana District Jagmohan Sharma (Ludhiana East), Ex-Sad Mla Mittal (Atamnagar).
Gupta added that because BJP has announced its share of 65 candidates, there are no plans to process the seat distribution arrangement.
“This fourth will now file their nomination as a BJP candidate,” he said.
People in the party said that some PLC candidates from urban centers were interested in contests as BJP nominations.
Nambardar, who officially turned to BJP on Saturday, said that he had taken a problem with Amarinder Singh, who followed by BJP.
“I owe my loyalty to Capt Amarinder but people in the Bathinda area told me that a symbol of PLC stick hockey and ball still not as popular as the BJP Lotus symbol.” Confirm that more people are interested in the BJP symbol, he added, “People in urban areas identify with Lotus.
The PLC symbol will capture their imagination from time to time and maybe in the next selection of Sabha Lok, it will be popular.” Asked whether he would join formally BJP, Nambardar said he would go with any Amarinder approval.
In the past, two Amarinder Loyalists MLAS – Gurmit Rana Singh Sodhi and Fateh Singh Bajwa – also prefer to join BJP and not PLC.
Amarinder hopes for some prominent faces, including sitting MLAS and parliamentarians, to join his party after the code of ethics imposed that have not happened so far.
PLC has been allocated 37 seats to compete from 117 seats in the state as part of its alique with BJP and SAD (Sanyukt).
