Prasagraj: In his first list for the Prayagraj District, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Friday announced a candidate for six assembly chairs while maintaining four MLA sitting, including two cabinet ministers.
The party has provided a ticket to two female candidates in Prayagraj.
BJP has changed candidates for the Phaphamau and Kora assembly segment.
Apart from the Prayagraj District, BJP also announced candidates from four Pratapgarh assembly chairs and one of the Kaushambi districts.
Overall, there are 22 assembly seats in three districts, including 12 in Prayagraj, seven in Pratapgarh and three in Kaushambi.
While BJP has announced candidates for 12 of the 22 seats until now, while in talks with the APNA Dal (s) alliance partner and the Nishad Party about the remaining 10 seats to oppose the 2022 polls of the State Assembly.
In the Prayagraj District, this party relied on four MLA sitting, including the Gopal Gopta NAND ‘Nandi’ (Cabinet Minister) from Allahabad Selatan and Siddarth Nath Singh (Minister of Cabinet) from Allahabad West, Neelam Karwaria from the table and Praveen Kumar Patel from Phupur seat assembly .
However, this time the party has announced former MLA Teacher Prasad Mauyr from Phaphamau in Pocket Trans-Ganga and new participants meaning of cabbage from Kora in Pocket Trans-Yamuna.
BJP in his first list has announced the CM representative and Senior BJP leader Keshav Prasad Maurya as his candidate from the Sirathu assembly chair from Kaushambi Regency.
Maurya has won the SiraThu assembly chair in the 2012 assembly poll when defended by the BJP Sheetla Prasad candidate in the 2017 assembly poll.
Now, Maurya once again tried her fortune from the city assembly chair in 2022 assembly polls.
Apart from the SiraThu assembly chair, BJP has announced sitting MLA Lal Bahadur as his candidate from the Majhanpur Assembly chair in Kaushambi Regency.
Likewise, senior BJP leader and cabinet minister Rajendra Pratap Singh Aka Moti Singh has announced a party candidate from his traditional Patti assembly chair from Pratapgarh Regency.
In addition, BJP has also announced Nagesh Pratap Singh aka Chote Sarkar from a distinctive mixture, Keshav PASI from Babaganj (SC) and SMT Sindhuja Mishra from the Kunda Assembly seat in the Pratapgarh district.
Of the 11 candidates announced on Friday, BJP has provided tickets to three female candidates, including two in Prayagraj and one in Pratapgarh Regency.
Senior BJP leader and Co-Convenor (Media) Ashish Gupta told Tii, “BJP has announced candidates for six of the 12 assembly seats and will soon declare a candidate for Allahabad North.
This party coordinates with the Allies Apna Dal (s) and the Nishad Party for Five more seats from the Prayagraj district, including coals, Karchana, Handia, Pratappur and Soron.
Gupta added, “BJP’s leadership was also busy in the plan to share seats for the remaining four seats Pratapgarh and Kaushambi adjacent, including one of the Kaushambi and three Pratapgarh, with Alliance partners.
