Prasagraj: With the arrest of three accused, the police on Friday claimed to have worked on kidnapping, rape and murder of a 19-year-old girl from the Trans-Ganga Prasagraj area.
The police have also recovered a killed girl bag containing a notebook, lower women, duppta, handkerchief and masks and four sets of cellphones from three accused.
The confiscated cellphones were sent for forensic examination after the defendant allegedly erased most data about the incident.
The people who were arrested were identified as Prime accused Safe Singh Rajput and his two feet – Deepak Yadav and Nikhil Kanaujia – residents of Azamgarh and wanted, respectively.
Deputy SP (colonelanj) Ajeet Singh Chauhan told Tii, “The father of the girl who was killed on January 24 approached the police and suspected kidnapping and killed his daughter.

After running away, he went straight to the Salori area and called his friends on the phone.
When the trio returned to the same place, they did not find the girl’s body and only saw the items.

Ironically, they did not tell anyone about the incident, added the police.
On January 23, safe and his accomplices had called the partner of the girl’s room killed and asked about his existence.
The room partner then became doubtful and he called the girl from the girl.
Police said that they were still carrying out a comprehensive investigation of the incident.
Safe has been used as an initial accusation for his involvement in kidnapping, raping and killing the girl while his two feet were accused of accusing the accusations and hiding facts.
