Shimla: A six-month-old baby died of Covid-19 in the Sirmaur district at Himachal Pradesh on Thursday.
The baby was hospitalized after a positive test for Covid-19 and he died of acute respiratory pressure syndrome (ARDS).
Himachal Pradesh reported 1,773 positive cases of Covid-19 while 534 positive patients recovered on Thursday.
The maximum positive case has been reported from Hamirpur, Kangra, bathing, Shimla, Sirmaur, Solan and Una Districts.
The state has a total of 2,38,355 positive cases confirmed 8,115 active cases, 2,26,334 patients have recovered while 3,871 patients have died.
So far, a total of 41,33,884 people have been tested for Covid-19, where 38.94,456 people have been tested negatively.
Since 19:00 on Wednesday, a total of 1,073 samples were tested in the state while the results of 1,614 were awaited.
Positive cases reported covering 65 of Bilalaspur Regency, 47 of the district of Chamba, 250 from Hamirpur Regency, 354 of Kangra Kangra, 13 of Kinnaur Regency, 65 of Kullu Regency, 7 of Lahaul-Spiti Regency, 171 of Shimla Regency, 123 From Shimla Regency, 123, 191 from the District of Sirmaur, 262 of the Solan District and 225 of the Una District.
Those who have recovered include 20 of Bilalaspur Regency, 2 of the district of Chamba, 175 of Hamirpur District, 106 of Kudra District, 2 of Kinnaur Regency, 35 of Kullu Regency, 20 from Bath Regency, 37 of Shirla District, 115 from Solan District and 21 from the Una district.
Billaspur District has 394 active cases, Chamba Regency has 190 active cases, Hamirpur Regency has 949 active cases, Kangra Regency has an active case of 1952, Kinnaur Regency has 121 active cases, Kullu Regency has 391 active cases have 19 active cases.
, Bathing District has 666 active cases, the Shimla district has 838 active cases, the Sirmail district has 674 active cases, the Solan district has 1212 active cases and the Una district has 709 active cases.
