Chandigarh: To ensure better coordination between the ruling party and state government, and to accelerate the implementation of various programs and government reform initiatives, Minister of Punjab Amarinder Singh and Congress President Navjot Singh Sidhu on Friday agreed to establish 10 members’ policy groups Strategic’.
In the performance of the unity in the leadership of the Congress, the decision was brought this morning when Sidhu, along with Nagra and Pargate, called on the Minister of Chief to discuss issues relating to Punjab and the steps to strengthen the coordination of the governments.
To be led by the minister’s chairman, the Group will have the Minister of Local Government of Brahm Mohindra, Minister of Finance Minister Singh Badal and Social Security Aruna Chaudhary as a member, along with Sidhu, the President of Work – Kuljit Singh Danny, Sukhwinder, very Singh Gilzian and Arun Goel, besides Singh Pargate.
The Group will hold a weekly meeting, consulting with other ministers, experts, etc.

This will discuss and review the progress of various state government initiatives that have been in implementation, and will also suggest steps to accelerate the same thing.
In another decision, Amarinder also assigned his cabinet colleagues.
Tasks are available at the Punjab Bhawan Congress every day, with rotation, for meetings with MLA and other party officials to discuss issues related to their constituencies / areas and overcome any problems.
One minister will be available at Bhawan Congress from Monday for three hours (11:00 to 2pm), and in any case the minister who needs to make a certain day can’t make it for a reason, he will regulate a replacement for consultation with other ministers.
This setting will last five days a week, from Monday to Friday, said Minister of Chief, added that this would help in better coordination between the government and party officials in the assembly selection of 2022.
