CHANDIGARH: Punjab reported 549 new Covid-19 cases and 23 deaths on Sunday.
At the previous 24 hours, five fatalities have been reported at Sangrur, three at Jalandhar and Barnala, 2 per year in Ferozepur, Gurdaspur and Hoshiarpur, along with one in Amritsar, Bathinda, Fazilka, Kapurthala, Ludhiana and Pathankot.
Additionally, 71 individuals tested positive in Bathinda, 52 at Amritsar,45 at Hoshiarpur,41at Jalandhar, 36 Ludhiana, 35 at Patiala, 32 at Fazilka, 30 at Gurdaspur, 27 at Mohali, 25 every in Farikdot, Kapurthala and Mansa, 21 at Sangrur, 14 at Ferozepur, 12 at Pathankot, 11 every in Muktsar and Nawanshahr, eight in Barnala, Ropar and Tarn Taran, seven at Fatehgarh Sahib, along with five in Moga.
A total of 97,234 individuals were vaccinated throughout the country.
Overall, 90,783 qualified beneficiaries are awarded the initial shooter and 6,451 have obtained the next dose.
As a lot of new instances of mucormycosis were reported throughout the afternoon.
