Chandigarh: The Kisan Mazdoor Sangharsh committee announced on Tuesday to immediately postpone the ‘rail roko’ agitation after the Minister of Punjab Chararjit Singh Channi in a meeting with a farmer delegation decided to provide RS 17,000 per hectare assistance to be substantially damaged by the hail during the previous Kharif season .

Considering the demand for farmers, the minister also agreed to include three names of farmers who died early other agitation before the agricultural struggle for a year as a special case for financial compensation and government work for family members who qualified.
He was also directed at the Colonization Department to work beyond modalities to bestow ownership rights to cultivators in the occupation of land for a long time (relatory) after which allowed them to make payments in four installments.
Welcoming the delegation ideas to create ‘Basmati Trading Corporation’ to ensure basmati exports around the world with twin goals providing favorable prices for their plants and to provide a big boost towards diversification of plants, the main minister is directed by the Head of Chief Anirudh Tewari to conduct a detailed study before taking a detailed study final.
