Bathinda: In the midst of increasing concerns about the environment, forest cover in Punjab has decreased 2 square kilometers in 2021 compared to 2019.

Data was released on Thursday when the Minister of Environment, Forest and Climate Change Bhupender Yadav released the Indian Forest State Report (ISFR) 2021.
