Bathinda: With only 23 days left to hold elections in Punjab, Dera Sacha Souda held the second show in the last 18 days last week.
A large number of followers of Punjab and Haryana gathered at the Dera headquarters at Sansa in Haryana on Tuesday.
Even though the opportunity was the commemoration of the 103 years of the birth of the second head of Dera, Shah Satnam, Dera Insiders said they also used it to show the support they had in front of the assembly election in Punjab.
Dera was studied to start informal deliberation to get follow-up opinions from different assembly constituencies.
Meetings are expected to begin in a day or more and followers have been asked to take into account the candidates who oppose Dera, which stands on it, and who launched the campaign against Dera.
The wings of Dera political affairs, in addition to making decisions to support each political party, may also consider supporting only candidates standing next to them, inner people said.
BJP ABOHAR MLA Arun Narang and Candidate Sardulgarh BJP Jagjit Singh Milkha participated in the meeting.
Congress leader Mangat Rai Bansal, whose wife Manju Bala is Congress Congress Candidate from Maur in Bathinda District, and Punjab Congress Candidate Lok from Patiala Rural Seat Sanjeev Sharma also reached SANSA.
According to the insider, this is the biggest meeting of Dera after 2017, the year when the Dera Head of Gurmet Ram Ram was convicted of rape.
Previously, a large congregation was held in Bathinda Salabatpura Regency, which had the largest branch in Punjab, on January 9, a day after the announcement of the poll schedule.
Minister Vijay Minder Singla, former Minister of Sadhu Singh Dharamsot, Bansal, BJP leader Surjit Kumar Jyani and Harjit Singh Grewal, and the Aam Party Aadmi Bathinda Urban candidate Jagroop Singh Gill has reached the church.
Dera has played her role in the election scene in Punjab and Haryana.
In 2007, it has supported Congress in Punjab.
Even though Congress has won several seats in Malwa where Dera has an influence, it fails to maintain power.
After that, Dera has sided up selectively with political parties.
A spokesman for Dera Harcharan Singh said, “It was the warning of our second teacher’s birth, Shah Satnam Ji.
Some politicians who conducted the contest selection were also visited.
The meeting to bring very sights about the election is expected to begin, but today there is no politics discussed because it’s purely religious and social meeting.
