Chandigarh: giving encouragement to the ongoing Covid vaccination drive, the Punjab government is ready to launch a special campaign to record all students over 18 years and staff, both administrative and academic, in universities in the state.
For this purpose, special camps will be held in universities and all students and staff who qualify will be given the first dose of vaccines in July.
The decision for this effect was taken at the health response committee meeting chaired by the Head of Secretary Vini Mahajan.
He asked the health and family welfare department to appoint a team in the state and the district level for weekly review of Covid positive data to ring a warning every time the level of progress rose to anywhere in the state.
