Shimla: Shimla Tourism City is back covered under a piece of white snow on Thursday a lot for pleasure of tourists.
Besides Shimla, another area in the state also accepts fresh snow spells.
More rain and snow have been predicted for the state in the coming days.
About 460 roads in the state have been blocked due to rain and snow down while the 642 power distribution transformer has also been damaged.
In the middle of the yellow warning issued by the Indian Meteorology Department (IMD), the snow dropped in a higher part and the rain at the bottom of the country since Wednesday night has been reported.
Shimla, Kufri, Narcade, Chail has been covered with snow white blankets.
As far as rainfall, Chawari recorded 40mm rainfall; Pachhad, Kasol and Manali 16mm each; 15mm banjar; Seobagh 14mm; Wangtoo, Kasauli, Saloni and Baldwara 12mm; Each Dharamshala and Palampur 11mm; Bhorranj 10mm; Chamba, Gagal, Kandaghat and 9mm Sarahan each and Rohru witnessed 8mm rainfall.
The main snowfall was recorded at Kothi 45cm, Khadradaa 10cm, Chopal and Nichar 7cm respectively, Morang and Kumukseri 5cm, Bijahi, Kufri, Dalhousie and Keylong 3cm respectively.
