Yamunanagar: Haryana Minister of Justice (CM) Manohar Lal Khettar on Friday said that a number of RS 341 Crore will be spent on the dam and a series to be developed in Adi Badri to rejuvenate the Saraswati River.
After his previous visit in Jagadhri, Haryana CM Manohar Lal visited Adi Badri, which was considered a place where the Saraswati River was in accordance with Hindu text.
On January 21, the main ministers of Hyyana and Himachal Pradesh (HP) will sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU), giving approval for the development of the dam at Adi Badri in the Som Nadi channel, the Yamuna River that contributed.
Haryana CM Manohar Lal is the Chairman of Haryana Sarasvati Heritage Development Board (HSHDB), and he was accompanied by HSHDB Deputy Chairperson of Dhuman Singh, Minister of Education Harwar, Ambala MP Rattan Lal Kataria, Yamunanagar Mla Ghanshyam Arora Region and Yamunanagar Deputi Parth Gupta.
During his visit, CM discussed the development of dams and a series with relevant officials and provided instructions needed.
“Dams will be developed on Panchayat Land in Rampur Hediyan, Rampi Kamboyan and Chhalour Village.

Deputy Chairperson of HSHDB Dhuman Singh said CMS Haryana and HP will sign the MoU to develop a dam at Adi Badri on January 21, 2022.
Yamunanagar Supervisor of Police (SP) Kamaldeep Goyal, Bilalaspur Sub-Division Magistrate (HR) Japal Singh Gill and Senior Official Irrigation Haryana Department Water resources are also present on this occasion.
